A duo exhibition by a couple is always a complex challenge. You would think that if a relationship is flourishing, then an exhibition done as a couple should reflect that in the works and in the project as a whole. We would like life to always follow this logic, although it is true that good communication generates powerful energy, it is also true that in this type of collaborations we open our personal processes to thousands of variations that we do not we are not into solitary and independent work. We took on these variants as a challenge and the result is what you will be able to physically see in this exhibit.

This is an exercise that does not claim to lead us to any conclusion. We believe that sharing our process with you, individually and as a whole, will reveal a number of questions that we consider valuable to explore further. Valuable on an artistic level, but especially on a personal level, because we believe that collaboration is the model of work that will lead us all towards a more empathetic and functional future.

"Adjust the Blinds" refers to this ability to readjust our perception according to immediate needs, or what is required of us at each moment. Modify or readjust the light behind the blinds, the incoming information, our perception in order to see more clearly. In these confusing times for all, we are questioning everything we have learned, everything we thought we knew and even the truths we thought were absolute. We learn to live in the uncertainty of a period of change, with all the readjustments that implies.
