Cédric Tchinan est né en 1994 à Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire) où il vit et travaille aujourd'hui.Diplômé au Lycée d’Enseignement Artistique de Cocody, il continue sa formation à l'Ecole des Beaux-Arts d’Abidjan. Il en sort major de la promotion 2020.

L’Artiste a toujours été fasciné par le monde en mouvement et les interactions entre les êtres humains. Ce faisant, il traduit dans son travail sa perception de cette dynamique, des relations entre les êtres et son rapport personnel avec ceux-ci.

Pour l’Artiste, la ligne représente ce lien fragile qui nous rattache les uns aux autres. Ainsi, il utilise une écriture expressive et simple, proche du gribouillage ; l’effet optique mettant en valeur sa sensibilité et l’esthétique de son travail. 

Il y a de l'innocence, de la poésie et beaucoup de tendresse dans les toiles de Tchinan qui poursuit son chemin avec le sourire et l'optimisme qui le caractérisent et que l'on retrouve dans son travail.

Cedric Tchinan was born in 1994 in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) where he lives and works today. He graduated from the Lycée d'Enseignement Artistique de Cocody and continued his training at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts d'Abidjan. He graduated first in the class of 2020.

The artist has always been fascinated by the world in motion and the interactions between human beings. In doing so, he translates into his work his perception of this dynamic, the relationships between beings and his personal relationship with them. For the artist, the line represents this fragile link that connects us to each other. Thus, he uses an expressive and simple writing, close to the scribble; the optical effect emphasizing his sensitivity and the aesthetic of his work. 

There is innocence, poetry and a lot of tenderness in Tchinan's paintings. He continues his path with the smile and the optimism that characterize him and that we find in his work.
