Sergio Recabarren est né en à Santiago au Chili en 1984. Son travail explore, dans une démarche abstraite, des notions de psychédélisme inspirées par des symboles chamaniques et d’art visionnaire. Son travail a été exposé dans plusieurs pays, notamment aux Pays-Bas avec sa participation à l’exposition “The New Psychedelica” à Eindhoven, à la Biennale de Saint Pétersbourg, ou à Moscou et Paris. L’artiste propose un nouveau langage formel post-cinétique et fait référence aux états de conscience altérée et aux voyages vers des dimensions immatérielles. Création et manipulation de pixels, d’erreurs numériques et de processus génératifs, des images inconnues qui émergent et génèrent une expérience de contemplation immersive.

Sergio Recabarren was born in Santiago, Chile in 1984. His work explores, in an abstract approach, notions of psychedelia inspired by shamanic symbols and visionary art. His work has been exhibited in several countries, notably in the Netherlands with his participation in the exhibition “The New Psychedelica” in Eindhoven, at the Saint Petersburg Biennale, or in Moscow and Paris. The artist proposes a new post-kinetic formal language and refers to altered states of consciousness and journeys to intangible dimensions. Creation and manipulation of pixels, digital errors and generative processes, unknown images that emerge and generate an experience of immersive contemplation.
