193 GALLERY

PRESENTATION
193 Gallery (193, as the number of countries in the world) is an art gallery that aims to do a world tour of contemporary art through exhibitions dedicated to countries and its emerging artists.
1: symbol of creativity, independence and trust in the world
9: symbol of ideals, spiritual elevation and empathy for others
3: symbol of sharing, sensitivity to the world and emotions
More than just a gallery, the 193 wants to reveal over exhibitions the “culture” of countries, in a broad sense, through its contemporary art (painting, sculpture, photography, art editions) but also through its gastronomy, music and various experiences.
In our travels around the world, we meet local art scenes through biennials, fairs and artists' studios. With our team of curators, we select the most promising emerging artists.
Over the last months, the gallery has presented artists from Japan, Chile, the Caribbean (Cuba, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, guadeloupe, Martinique) and Morocco. In the coming months, the 193 Gallery will highlight Papua New Guinea, Mexico, Thailand, Brazil and Italy.
