KOJI KASATANI

PRESENTATION

Koji Kasatani was born in 1964 in Tokyo and studied at the Art Academy in Florence, Italy. The whimsical sculptor lives in a city of surfers 1.5 hours from Tokyo and works mainly in ceramics. Exhibited in prestigious galleries in Tokyo and Taiwan, he focuses his work on his obsession, the banana, which he represents as a human being, doing different activities in everyday life.
