Born in 1965 - Lives and works between Mexico City, Lima and Los Angeles.

Aldo Chaparro is a Mexican-Peruvian artist whose work focuses on sculpture and architecture. He explores the spatial and architectural richness and his artworks are built from rapid processes.

Throughout his career, under the influence of Michaelangelo, Pistolleto or Robert Morris, the artist works on reflection and mirror effect which have always been key points in his reflection. Over time, he developed close ties with his favorite materials such as steel, wood and neon.

His works are notably part of large collections by Simon de Pury (London), Pierre Huber, the Jumex Foundation, Domenico de Sole Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sotheby’s, or the Perez Art Museum in Miami.

He has been exhibited in the mains worldwide contemporary art fairs such as Art Basel, Art Dubai, FIAC...
