About the artist 
Ka Xiaoxi (born in Daqing, China) is a Chinese contemporary artist. 
 
His work aims to capture Chinese youth, street culture and fashion in its most authentic, raw and sometimes craziest forms. Ka is best known for his unique and daring aesthetic of the instantaneous - simple, meaningful moments in time that tell visceral stories about his subjects. 
 
As a photographer and curator, Ka Xiaoxi currently lives and works in Shanghai, China.
