About the artwork and the artist 
Kitikong Tilokwattanotai's abstract work is based on capturing and memorizing his emotions. In the exhibited series, Kitikong uses a pictorial technique based on successive brush strokes causing accumulations of colored matter of variable thickness. The transparency and the crystallinity of the layer of lacquer that he applies will then freeze these sediments whose texture and color will take the spectator into a contemplative state.
